About Us
The mission of the California Autism Resources and Evaluation Foundation, also known as the CARE Foundation, is to improve the quality of life, safety, well-being, and future opportunities for individuals with autism and their families, especially those facing financial hardship or limited access to essential resources.
We firmly believe that every individual with autism deserves the opportunity to lead a safe, healthy, meaningful, and dignified life, irrespective of their family’s financial situation. Through our various CARE Foundation services, including charitable assistance, community-based programs, and educational opportunities, we aim to bridge the gaps that many families encounter—gaps that insurance, schools, and traditional service systems often cannot fill.
Our initiatives are rooted in the everyday realities experienced by individuals with autism and their families. This may involve helping a child find appropriate clothing or shoes, ensuring access to swimming and water-safety instruction, or supporting educational, recreational, and community engagement opportunities. We strive to provide families with crucial resources that enhance safety, independence, inclusion, and overall quality of life.
The CARE Foundation is particularly dedicated to supporting families who face financial barriers that hinder them from accessing opportunities and necessities that many others take for granted. Our commitment goes beyond immediate assistance; we aim to establish pathways for individuals with autism to engage more fully and safely in their homes, schools, and communities.
At the core of the CARE Foundation is a fundamental belief: a diagnosis of autism—and a family’s financial circumstances—should not dictate the opportunities, safety, dignity, or quality of life that a person deserves.

The CARE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity under EIN 47-1202608. The Nonprofit provides essential care services to ensure families receive the resources and financial support they need.
